How accessible are your tours?
We are happy to modify our routes to take physical disabilities into consideration, just let us know ahead of time.
The Arts Centre Guided Walk
This tour is mostly flat and wheelchair accessible, however it includes two buildings with multiple flights of stairs.
Ōtautahi Christchurch Highlights Walk
The central city in Christchurch is very flat with minimal incline. This tour covers about 3km in distance.
Ōtautahi Cultural Precinct
As this route is fully customised, accessibility and distance can vary.
How can I book my tickets? Do I need to book in advance?
Ōtautahi Christchurch Highlights Walk & The Arts Centre Guided Walk
From 1 September to 31 May, you'll need to book online to secure your spot. Walk-ups may be possible, but this will be subject to availability.
From 1 June to 31 August, you must book online by 6pm on the evening before the walk. There are no walk-ups available during this time.
In-person bookings can be made subject to availability by visiting the team at The Arts Centre’s Clock Tower, 2 Worcester Boulevard, open daily 10am–3.30pm.
Ōtautahi Cultural Precinct
Bookings must be made at least 72 hours in advance, and you'll have to contact us to book your tour.
Do I need to print my ticket?
You do not need to print your ticket.
When you arrive at The Arts Centre, our Visitor Services team will ask for your name and check our bookings for the day.
